From a storytelling perspective, Santa Barbara v2 is the most important. That model tells us everything we need to know about what's happened to her and Lev over the last 2 months. It really drives home the point that the old Abby, the revenge obsessed Abby, is no more. That's good visual storytelling.
People are just not use the seeing athletic women and should understand Abby is portraying a strong militia leader who’s a bit of tomboy. Also training solidly for 4 years and a lot of manual labour unlike the usual Jill Valentine or Ada Wong protagonists. It’s just a suspension of disbelief people can’t let go.
