The 1.4 TSI would be more than up to the task. Same torque, virtually, as the 1.8 TSI manual, same horsepower as the newest generation TDI. Torque available down nice and low. Drove the 122 hp engine in a Mk VI Golf in the UK 5 years ago, and thought it was a great engine and well adapted to that size of car.

VW-ov TSI motor, ali radne zapremine 1.2 je izuzetno štedljiv, čak i snažnija verzija od 105 KS. Motor 1.4 TSI od 122, 140 i čak 170 KS, u nekim režimima vožnje troši više za čak 2,5 litra od motora 1.9 TDI. Dakle, vako vam je potrošnja primarna kao što ste naveli, birajte onda 1.9 TDI motor. Chain failures on the Mk6 1.4 TSI are rare.they are more frequent on the Mk5. In any case, the majority of 'chain failures' come from the car rolling backwards when left in a forward gear when parked..the chain can slip a tooth or more under these conditions as the chain tensioner relies on hydraulic oil pressure of which there is none
Re: 1.4 TSi EA 211 92 kW a 110 kW. Díky, zdá se, že turbo se chladí vodou. Ale předpokládám, že tam je i klasické chlazení olejem. Bohužel tam ale explicitně nepíšou o funkci dochlazování i po zhasnutí motoru, ale je tam i nějaké čerpadlo pro doběh, tak to asi asi bude ono.
