Fluid should not be low unless : a) you have a leak (and you should notice tranny oil under your car. b) it was too low to begin with - meaning someone else has changed the fluid before, which is unlikely Id assume on your 09 jetta. They say about 4.5L should come out.

Hello VW fanatics, I was wondering how often you are servicing your DSGs. I have a MK7.5 w/ the 7 speed, and VW recommends 80k. I typically change my trans fluids every 30k for good measure on my previous vehicles. Or shorter with heavy use. Does anyone change their DSG in shorter intervals?
10k seems like too much. 5k splits the difference. Dealer/VW covers the 10, 20, 30k changes on my MY2009. I paid for the 5k, DIY'ed the 15k.. Will DIY the 25k.
